Juanfran Gets One Yellow Card Overturned

Osasuna mid­fielder Juanfran’s appeal was some­what suc­cess­ful.   He had one of his two book­ings from Sunday’s loss to Real Madrid over­turned after ref­eree Alonso Pérez Bur­rull was sus­pended for one month after his per­for­mance in that match.

The Span­ish Foot­ball Federation’s Com­pe­ti­tion Com­mit­tee decided to erase the book­ing that Juan­fran received in the 81st minute after he is tripped inside the penalty box by Real Madrid defender Pepe.  This means that Juan­fran will be able to play against Vil­lar­real at the Reyno de Navarra for the 20th week of the La Liga campaign.
