The strength of Barcelona and Stuttgart are too wide in the gap. If Barcelona put all in this game, Stuttgart can be easily destroyed.

Barcelona are with an away goal advanatge so Stuttgart must attack today. Hence the back-line is open for top form Messi and I expect Barce to big win here.

Sevilla is just too inconsistent to finish third, as proven by their performance against CSKA Moskva today, so Valencia should finish third with Sevilla fourth. As for fifth and sixth place, Depor, Mallorca, and Athletic Club have let Getafe and Villarreal into the race because they cannot string successful results consecutively.
I think it will be Depor in fifth and Villarreal in sixth. Mallorca will face some big clubs at home down the stretch, and they will not win all of those games. Combined with their atrocious away form, I see Mallorca falling out of European contention at the end of the season.

Bravo Andy per usual a lovely written and insightful piece. Do you think that Sevilla will pimp Valencia for the 3rd place spot? Who are your picks to take the 5th and 6th Europa spot?
