diarra Pompey Accept Madrid Bid For Diarra

One of the major needs of the Madrid midfield is a person to come in and protect the the Merengue backline.   That type of player has been missing from the Spanish giants ever since Claude Makelele.  One of Madrid’s prodigal sons will also make his return to Valdebebas as of this winter.  The news was confirmed on the Portsmouth website as they mentioned that Real Madrid made an “exceptional offer’  for the French international.

The Other Diarra”  will be able to offer that in the midfield as Mahamadou Diarra will be out for the rest of the season and Ruben de la Red is going to be absent for an indefinite period of time.  Diarra, 23, started his career with French side Le Havre and moved to England when he signed for Chelsea.  He was transferred over to Arsenal and was sold to Portsmouth last January.

Diarra will be the third reinforcement for Madrid after they obtained the services of Klass-Jan Huntelaar and brought back Dani Parejo who was on loan to Queen’s Park Rangers.

Let us know who was the best transfer for Madrid or they should get.
